Danish Fight Night and Hillerød Sports Club open the doors to a very exciting boxing gala, in continuation of HSK BOX CUP Saturday.
Saturday night’s gala program in Frederiksborg Center offers a total of 8 matches including 5 specially selected amateur matches with the best boxers from the HSK Box Cup, and three professional matches with the Danish boxing stars Sarah Mahfoud, Oliver Meng and Ditlev Rossing.
Sarah Mahfoud, who is currently number one in the world ranking in featherweight at the WBA and IBF, has to box a very important World Cup test against Enerolisa de Leon from the Dominican Republic.
The former Dancing with the stars winner, who started his boxing career in Hillerød, is undefeated in eight fights as a professional, and this is the final and decisive test before the World Cup appearance later this year against IBF world champion Brenda Karen Carabajal of Argentina.
However, Enerolisa De Leon with 5 wins, 2 defeats and 2 draws will do everything possible to disrupt the Danish World Cup plans with its spectacular style and power, thus creating a nerve-wracking boxing fight.
In addition, an extremely exciting showdown has been made between two undefeated fighters when the Danish boxing team Oliver Meng dries with the Frenchman Jordan Neveux.
19-year-old Oliver Meng, who is IBF junior world champion and unbeaten in 6 professional fights, is considered one of the biggest boxing talents in Denmark.
However, 30-year-old Jordan Neveux from the strong French boxing scene is undefeated in 8 matches with 4 wins decided ahead of time.
He is boxing aggressively and hard hitting, and Oliver Meng gets his hands full in what is expected to be a particularly action-packed drama.
The evening also offers an exciting match with Ditlev “D-Struction” Rossing, who currently is number 27 on WBC’s world cruiser rankings.
The 24-year-old hard-hitter, unbeaten in 12 games with 8 knockout victories, is fast approaching the absolute world elite and is one of the most interesting names on the Danish boxing scene.
The evening starts with 5 well-matched and specially selected amateur matches with some of Denmark’s best boxers, among others in the entertaining super heavyweight class.
The doors open at 18:00.
The event starts at 19:00.
